SUNY OnMark's Regional Conference

SUNY OnMark hosts its own Regional Conference every fall. Every year we reach out to distinguished professionals. These professionals come from all different backgrounds in the business field looking to speak about business etiquette, how to prepare for life after college, as well as resume building and networking. We have speakers discuss the businesses they are a part of, while sharing their experiences that may be insightful with our general body and invited guests. Attendees are encouraged to interact with the speakers and ask questions or address concerns they may have.

Case Competition 2020-2021

A committee of several AMA members are currently collaborating to submit an in depth marketing report for the purpose of expanding the reach of this years sponsor, PODS. The committee is meeting twice a week to create a cohesive analysis and marketing plan for the sponsor. Check back in for updates on this years case.

Case Competition 2019-2020

A committee of seven AMA members collaborated to submit an in depth marketing report for the purpose of expanding the reach of this years sponsor, Cotton Inc. The report included both the qualitative and quantitative data derived from survey of 384 respondents. The committee met twice a week to create a cohesive analysis and marketing plan for Cotton Incorporated, which took numerous hours to receive and perfect to be regarded as successful by the competition judges and to serve as an inspiration for future case competition in our chapter. Our final submission was recognized by the judges, who deemed our plan Commendable.

AMA SUNY Regional Conference 

The weekend of February 20th & 21st, SUNY Oneonta AMA partnered with SUNY Oswego AMA for the first SUNY Regional Conference. Throughout the weekend we had four amazing speakers that led thought-provoking conversations. Our speakers included Kelly Smith Aceituno, the Senior Vice President at Prosek Partners; Pam Ariyakulkan, the Director of Global Media at American Express; Kristine Naylor, the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for the brand Wash with Water; and Joan Pelzer, the founder and CEO of Joan Pelzer Social Media and Joan Pelzer Media LLC.
